Melbourne, FL — Qligent, a leading provider of world-class solutions for monitoring and visualization of Media Quality of Service and Consumer Quality of Experience, unveiled a new multichannel visualization feature for Vision platform. The main advantage of the newly designed feature consists in obtaining multichannel view of overall media distribution status on a single screen, quick problem detection and troubleshooting.
Multichannel visualization was developed for Qligent Vision platform, which allows to carry out end-to-end delivery verification. It can be deployed on-premises, in the cloud or via Qligent’s Oversight managed service, the broadcast industry’s first true monitoring-as-a-service (MaaS).
Due to user-customized video widgets (Vidgets) it is possible to combine any monitoring parameters to get a true picture of the performance issues, determine impact on the viewer and then proceed to the root cause analysis. This simple three-step workflow enables engineers and operators to quickly filter, sort and collect a variety of data across multiple channels, programs and their associated delivery platforms (terrestrial, cable, satellite and IPTV) and to understand if the viewers have noticed the problem.
Multichannel visualization will be demonstrated as a part of Vision solution at IBC 2015 (Stand 8.A09 in Hall 8), taking place September 11-15 at the RAI Convention Center in Amsterdam.
