GatesAir is an American electronics manufacturer that produces terrestrial TV and radio broadcast equipment. The company mainly provides transmitters and associated broadcast facilities for over-the-air television and radio broadcasting. GatesAir constantly brings new design solutions in the broadcasting market, and due to reduced size and efficient energy use, their products allow customers to considerably cut their costs while maintaining the highest levels of quality and control of their over-the-air signals.
Since 1998 Tecom Group, as a software developer partner, has successfully carried out numerous projects in the field of television and radio transmission technology for Harris Corporation, and in particular for its Broadcast Communication Division (BCD). Starting from 2014, after the rebranding of Harris Broadcast and its separation into two independent companies, Tecom Group continued to collaborate effectively with GatesAir.
Tecom Group employs over 100 employees – developers, testers and managers – that are involved in projects with GatesAir. Resource management in all of our GatesAir-related projects is based on the approach that all the line management activities are handled by Tecom Group.
Tecom Group took part in the development of GatesAir products in the following product lines: Maxiva™, Flexiva™, and Intraplex®.
