Moscow, Russia — Tecom Group presented Qligent Vision’s capabilities for IPTV, OTT and broadband service quality monitoring during the XVI conference “Club-Com” held in Moscow.
“Club-com” is an event, which brings together alternative telecom operators, content providers, and broadband service providers from Russian million-plus cities. Centered around the theme “Telecom at a tipping point – a new wave of crisis or the sales growth”, the last Club-Com attracted more than 120 attendees – from managers to owners of the industry-related companies.
During the session related to problems of business optimization and effectiveness, Andrey Burashnikov, Tecom Group’s Vice President, Telecommunications, demonstrated innovative approaches and Tecom Group’s latest solutions for media service quality monitoring. During his presentation, he focused on Qligent’s flagship product – Vision – an automated system for monitoring of objective (Qos SLA) and subjective (QoE) quality parameters. Vision has a scalable architecture that allows for deployment on a single site as well as in a distributed cloud environment.
Andrey Burashnikov also took part in the panel discussion on “How the quality of IPTV service impacts the loyalty of clients”.
Commenting on the results of the conference, Andrey Burashnikov remarked: A long history of cooperation with big Russian telecom operators allowed us to accumulate a unique experience in media service quality monitoring. The participation in “Club-com” gives us the opportunity to better understand the level of relevance of this problem for independent telecom operators and to offer them an affordable solution.
