Qligent Record receives highly positive feedback during its experimental commissioning carried out by Tecom Group for TV Tsentr

Moscow, Russia — TV Tsentr got to test the performance of Qligent Record system during the experimental commissioning that lasted from July, 16 until August, 31 2015. Tecom Group’s experts deployed the system on the premises of TV Tsentr in Moscow, providing TV Tsentr’s specialists with access to the system throughout the whole time-frame of the project.

Qligent Record configuration specifically tailored for TV Tsentr allowed performing compliance recording of two program channels from SDI or ASI outputs with 720х576 resolution as well as carrying out compliance verification with EBU-R128 loudness standards.

During the experimental commissioning, TV Tsentr analyzed and emphasized the robustness of the following features of the system:

• 24/7 managed service of automated multichannel recording with a possibility of multichannel control;
• IP streams recording support;
• Online streaming support;
• Remote access to the recorded files;
• Quick navigation and search through the recorded material;
• The possibility of imposing OSD– on screen display information on the recorded material;
• Subtitles recording. Creation of separate subtitles files.

It is worth mentioning that Qligent Record system has a modular architecture what facilitates adding new features intended to monitor other aspects, like (QoE, bitrates, TR 101290, loudness level).

The management of the technical department of TV Tsentr spoke highly of the professionalism of Tecom Group’s staff and their readiness to adapt the system to their needs when it was required.
